She has received several awards, including first prize at the Britten Cello Concours, the Herman Krebbers Concours, and the Prinses Christina Concours, both as a soloist and as a member of Trio Diotima. In 2022, she was a finalist at the National Cello Concours in Amsterdam, where she was awarded third prize, the Audience Award, and the prize for best interpretation of Wind of Love by Calliope Tsoupaki.
Emma has performed in masterclasses with renowned cellists such as Gary Hoffman, Pieter Wispelwey, and Dmitri Ferschtman. Recently, she took part in a recording project at Utrecht’s Concert Lab under the direction of Gavriel Lipkind and Larissa Groeneveld. She also performed with Kian Soltani in the project Cello Unlimited during the 2024 Cello Biennale in Amsterdam.
She currently plays an Arcangioli cello, kindly loaned by Charles Beare, and a bow by Harm Bakker. Emma is continuing her studies with Thomas Carroll at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.
